High Performance Holiday Camp with April Ross

It was a great week at Chula Vista; great weather and once again we had the honor of being trained by several top U.S. sand coaches. It is always good to come away with new pointers and seeing some friends from around the country. By the end of the camp, we had the usual tournament in which I qualified for the finals but unfortunately had to leave early to catch a plane with my friend Maja (pictured) and others. Looking forward to the Summer 2014 already!

We finished first "playing up" in the 18U age division.

2013 USA Beach High Performance Championships

USAV Press Release.....The 4^th annual USAV Beach High Performance Championships (Beach HPC) will be held July 17-21 in Hermosa Beach, CA featuring the best young beach volleyball athletes in the country in an elite competition. The USA Beach HPC will give participants exposure to international style competition. The USA Beach HP Championships is the marquee event for USA Beach Programs.

Hailey and I had a great day, we ended up in 2nd place - pool play. We lost to the number one seed in the tournament in three sets, so we are feeling good about tomorrow's bracket play! Going for Gold!

Had a great few days of training at the Olympic Training Center.  We had a lot of court time with top coaches and professional sand players.  We move to the USC dorms tomorrow for more training and preparation for the High Performance Invitational.

USA Volleyball Beach Tour - Houston Open

 

Madison and I won the tournament in Houston!   There were several top teams from all over Texas and we were undefeated!  We are now qualified for the USAV Junior Beach Tour National Championship.
